B.Sc Nursing Eligibility

  • Qualification: 10+2 with PCB (45% marks) and English.
  • Age Limit: Minimum 17 years, Maximum 30 years (35 years for SC/ST).

KEA-CET for BSc Nursing

To get admission in BSc Nursing in any college in Karnataka, students must appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET), also known as KEA-CET or KCET, conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

KCET is mandatory for all students applying for BSc Nursing in Karnataka, whether under the government quota, state quota, or even the management quota. The exam determines eligibility and merit for government quota seats in government, university, private aided, and private unaided institutions across Karnataka for the 2025-26 academic year.

As per the KEA notification (No. ED/KEA/ADMN/CR-02/2025-26, dated 22.01.2025), both Karnataka and non-Karnataka candidates must take KCET to be eligible for BSc Nursing admissions. However, non-Karnataka candidates are not eligible for government quota seats. Candidates must register online, complete the CET-2025 application form, pay the fee, and download the admission ticket to appear for the exam.
